We recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Montgomery for five nights. It is a very comfortable hotel, providing a hot breakfast, and conveniently located to downtown and areas east of the city. We have a daughter in a wheelchair so we booed the accessible king suite with sleeper sofa. My daughter had no problems with the sleeper sofa and my wife and I were very comfortable in the king sized bed. There was ample room for my daughter to move around in the room, however, the entry into the bathroom from the hall was a bit tight. The bathroom itself was very nice, although it would have been a bit better if the shower were a roll-in type and if there were a bit more counter-top space.

Where do I begin? Well the room was a handicap room. The room smelled of mildew. Since it was a handicap room the shower water would flow onto the rest of the bathroom floor. We had to lay down towels to stop the water from spreading further into the bathroom. The hairdryer did not work so I called for a replacement. The hotel's solution was to repair the broken one rather than just swap it out. When it could not be repaired the hotel maintenance guy decided to then replace it. This took well over 30 minutes to finish (which made us late for our plans). Upon returning to our room that evening, we were welcomed with our room exactly as we left it; wet towels on the bathroom floor, un-made sheets, etc. The front desk immediately sent fresh towels down. When I asked why our room was not attended to, he stated that we requested to not have our room attended to. Really? The only positive part of our stay at SpringHill Suites Montgomery was the breakfast. It was delicious. My compliments to those employees. As a Gold Elite Member, I stay at Marriott Brand Hotels very often but I know for a fact that SpringHill Suites Montgomery will not be one I choose again.

Don't get a room in the freeway side! The trucks will keep you up all night. This is now my second stay here. This time the a/c in the room barely works. This is not on the Springhill Suites level!!

My only real dig on the hotel is the difficultly getting into and out of the building in a wheelchair. The doors are not electric and there is a double-door set that are just close enough together to make entry hard. Also, the hallway exit doors require navigating a double turn that is too tight to make in a some wheelchairs. Otherwise, this is a great property.

Wireless internet access was available throughout the hotel and was sufficient for web surfing and online music streaming, but not for video from the room. I did not use the pool but did use the fitness room. There are three pieces of fitness equipment. Both of these resources were lightly used and I was able to get into the fitness room at anytime and use the equipment I desired. All worked as designed!

I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable room for a short or medium length stay. We will stay here again if we come back to the Montgomery area.

This place is a shi*hole! Marriott should be ashamed to have their name on this place! I'm Hilton Diamond, I was going to go for Marriott Platinum, but I'm seriously rethinking that after they made a woman spray her own room after complaining it smelled.

Business manager on duty was not courtious with no people skill whatsoever. Room was dirty. Overall, this place is dump for a Marriott branded hotel. It gives Marriott a bab name. I would not every stay at this hotel ever. Checked out after one day and went to Holiday inn.
