The staff is really nice and the hotel interior is beautiful. It's right in the middle of the city, which means there are tourist spots everywhere. I would definitely book again!!
Love this place. It is so beautiful. The staff are nice, and the rooms and whole area are very clean. Note: they have rooms with no microwave nor refrigerators so if you want these items you have to ask. It was not an extra charge to move to another room. The scenery of the city is beautiful in the day time and at night. There are many restaurants and museums in the near area. However the hotel's restaurant is nice. The breakfast is delicious.
The Double Tree Hotel in downtown Montgomery Alabama were well appointed and spacious. The hotel lobby is beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a fashion emergency and needed a sewing kit. The hotel staff provided us with the supplies we needed to fix the problem. The staff kept our areas clean and were always helpful.
The people that work for the hotel are very nice and helpful .
Not clean enough for me. The hotel and room was grungy with fingerprints on every surface and debris on carpets. My room smelt musty but was tolerable. The room was okay but no microwave or mini fridge. The bathroom was very small and I am a small woman. My bed sheets were questionable. Wrinkled as if not changed, but I got in at midnight and was to tired to worry about it. At least the bathroom was clean except light switch witch had visible smears on it. I would much rather stay at a Hampton. Also the idea of animals being in my room is disgusting and that's probably why the rooms smell musty. I know people love their animals but I don't feel they belong in a hotel. The closet I the room was nice. I had no shampoo or conditioner just 2 lotions and a body wash. I typically bring my own but decided not to since I booked for only 1 night. I ate the 12 dollar breakfast. It was good. But free at other hotels.
