Clean room. Quiet. Very friendly staff. Room had torn up desk chair and deadbolt didn't work. Pillow smelled like mildew. Had to ask for towels. No drinking glasses in room. No coffee maker in room, but coffee available in lobby.
Staff were friendly and responsive. There is security on site at night. We stayed one night. There was no deadbolt or security lock on the door. Furniture was damaged, and the room did not have towels nor in-room coffee. It was not ready for an overnighter. The staff mentioned they cater to extended stay. Odd though, the in-room kitchen did not have utensils. If you are passing through, this is barebones accommodations.
I stayed here about a year or so ago and the stay was way better. I decided to come back and stay around December 11th 2017 through December 17th 2017. I can say I am disappointed wont be back again. Things that they don't have in the room knobs missing on airunit, missing iron, missing garbage in kitchen but they have one in the bathroom, missing a table in front of couch no chair to sit at use two have two, no clocks, no table connected to desk that comes out, no utensils/bowls/plates/cups/or anything to use in kitchen,the bedding is terrible and hideous the mattress is looks like a disaster, no tub stopper, no coffee maker in room, cockroaches in the kitchen on floor surface, and no soap to use in kitchen. I paid over 200 for this and the quality is no longer average at least or above standards. I'll use a phrase to describe this place "ghetto" raggedy basically just a place you can go for a one night stand if you dont care where you stay thats the place for you. I don't even want to give this place a start. Carmichael Extended Stay Is Wayyyy Wayyyy Better but way more expensive but worth it. Porsha front desk lady rude as hell dont know how to do her job you spend time waiting on her watching her run walk back and forth around the place she clueless. I shouldn't have to wait to check in at a certain time I pay way to much to be treated that way like Im bothering you now if I was some hot guy she would treat me different Ill tell you that .... when you call down to guest service they basically hang up on you don't want to be bothered with you sound all agitated on the phone..... So disappointed.....I stayed in 309.... Pictures are false advertisement....
If I can give this hotel a -0 I would. By far the WORST experience in my life! Left from this place today. Not only are they unprofessional but this place is NOTHING compare to what is advertised. This place is filthy , just disgusting!!! I have pictures if I knew how to post them I would. We were moved to several rooms and they were all horrible. We had no choice to stay here because we drove for 18 hours with kids because we had to evacuated from Florida due to the hurricane also because there were no room any where In Alabama. So there were dead and alive roaches, entire room was dirty there were no towels, blood on the walls, stains on the walls and roof, leaking roofs, stain on the curtains, furniture and carpet. The bathtubs was so dirty we didn't even shower and to top it off the toilet didn't flush. Oh and let's not forget the door didn't lock also it says non smoking but it smelled like nothing but cigarettes and weed. I asked to speak to a manager to get reimburse for this nightmare we experience and was told that the manager will have to call us and yet no call. This place needs to be Inspected by code enforcement. Definitely needs to be shut down!!! I wished I looked at the reviews before I booked this place. *STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE*
Would be great if they clean there carpet and get some house keepers worth hiring they don't work
