At Havertys, you get what you pay for, which means excellent, quality furniture that will last 10 years or more. They offer financing and also have a protection plan that will cover any accidents that may ruin your furniture. The associates are nice and will take time to get to know you, not just try to sell you something and get out out the door. There is a delivery fee, but they put all of the furniture together for you and put it in your home right where you want it. If you want beautiful furniture you can use for a long time, this is the right place to shop.
The sales staff was great but if you want your furniture pick it up yourself. We were supposed to have our dining room table delivered on a Thursday so I made accomodations and sold the existing table. Thursday, I receive the call with the appointment time of 7 or 8 pm. I was surprised it was going to be so late but I need the table since I don't have one at all at this point. Then...they call and say it will not be delivered because the drivers were "held up at another house". They told me to call in the morning to set up another appointment. The next available appointment was almost a week away. So now I still sit and wait for Wednesday with no table for my family to eat at for a week. I did get them to agree to waive my delivery charge. I have to say I'm very disappointed in how unprofessional the delivery service is.
They have a great selection of furniture but they need to have a special discount for returning customers
Great selection. Don't forget to visit the clearance items in the back of the store for a good bargain.
