We went here for dinner on a Friday night. It wasn't very busy at all. Our waiter was very nice and pleasant. However, it took forever to get our food. It was kind of annoying to wait when there wasn't a lot of other people there, but the food was really good once we got it.
First, Red Lobster has always been one of my favorite places to dine. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. My family and I went to the Red Lobster in Montgomery, AL tonight and the service was atrocious! We tried to be understanding since the Endless Shrimp promotion always draws a crowd. We had a wait of nearly 45 minutes....which was understandable. Once seated, SEVERAL different servers walked past our table and served other tables. There were 7 people at our table and for over 30 minutes, NO ONE offered to take our order, NO ONE asked what we wanted to drink, and NO ONE brought biscuits to our table!!! It was like we were invisible!!! Finally, I asked to see the manager and he took our orders. THEN, we had to get the attention of some random server just to get silverware!!!! Lastly, as our night was drawing to a close, we had to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to bring our bill and another 15 minutes for her to return with the change. A dining experience that should have been maybe an hour and half lasted close to 4 HOURS!!!! TRULY DISAPPOINTED!!!
O MY GOD! THE SERVICE WAS SO HORRIBLE, I COULD'VE BEEN TREATED BETTER AT MCDONALD'S. IT WAS VERY SLOW THIS PARTICULAR DAY AND OUR SERVER WAS HORRIBLE. WE WAS HIS ONLY TABLE. HE NEVER CHECKED ON OUR TABLE, REFILLED OUR DRINKS, NOR BROUGHT BISCUITS. THE SERVICE WAS SO HORRIBLE I COULD'VE EXPLODED.. OUR SOUP WAS COLD AND HE BROUGHT OUR DESSERT BEFORE WALKING OUT THE DOOR INSTEAD OF AFTER WE FINISHED OUR FOOD. THE BROWNIE WAS FROZEN AND HARD ENOUGH TO BREAK A WINDOW. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED! I CAN'T REMEMBER OUR SERVER NAME, BUT HE IS THE ONLY GUY THERE THAT LOOKS LIKE HE'S FROM AFRICA. YPUR BEST BET IS TO GET THE BALD HEAD GUY. HE ALWAYS MADE SURE HIS TABLES WERE STRAIGHT. THE AFRICAN GUY NEEDS TO BE FIRED OR RETRAINED. I. ANT BELIEVE RED LOBSTER SCUMBLED TO THIS LEVEL OF SERVICE. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN... THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I WAS TREATED THIS WAY AND THERE WON'T BE A THIRD.
On a Tuesday night, Endless Shrimp for two took WAY too long to get entrees served. It's not like the place was busy. Service was just extremely slow. The staff were very pleasant but that is only one part of the experience. This was the first time I've been there in a long while but the story was the same both times- courteous wait staff/servers but the kitchen was too slow!
The place looked clean and the food was okay. The fries weren't as great as I remembered and my kids did not like the raspberry lemonade. They said that it tasted weird and left a nasty aftertaste. I agree with them after trying it myself. I would say the worst part of my visit was my server. She was not very welcoming and seemed as if she was about to get off her shift or something because she kept rushing me to place my order. She didn't seem to know the menu and what customers liked too well because she couldn't recommend a delicious dish for me to try. Being a former server myself, I would not have treated my table the way that she treated me and my family. Normally I am a big tipper but her tip definitely reflected upon her service. I wasn't very comfortable with my experience at this particular red lobster like I would have liked to be
