Had lunch at D'Road. The food is so fresh and delicious. I had baked chicken with tomato, spinach and mozzarella, red cabbage, sweet potato and carrot mashed with refreshing basil and lime tea. For dessert Ms Janet made a banana pastry that was delicious. Ms Janet and her staff treat you like family. This is a gem in Montgomery!!!

I can't recommend this place enough. Janet makes everything from scratch and it tastes amazing. She keeps her vegetarian customers in mind and always has excellent non-meat options. Staff are all really nice. Make sure to budget enough time to pay, as her system takes a little while to process cards.
Delicious, melt-off-the-bone chicken in a simmer sauce with beans and rice.
Meal included desert, coffee and salad all for $15 bucks. Solid deal and an amazing find.

Great food, nice atmosphere, clean, and you can even good advice from Janet, the owner. She makes you feel like you are in her home. We stopped here on our way back to Atlanta from Florida. If I lived in Montgomery I would go every week. Beans and rice, great, my wife enjoyed the Venezuelan burger, which is large. The pork was tender and tasty. The food is not spicey but is flavorful. We liked the chicken mozzarella. It was all good. Highly recommend. If you call ahead of time, they will text you the menu for that day.
