This is your typical Cracker Barrel restaurant. Went here for brunch on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to get a table. The food was what you would typically get from this type of restaurant. The waiter I had was awful, he only came to my table every 20 minutes or so. Had a couple sit down after me, got their food and left before I got my food. Also, the orange juice......why skimp on the amount of OJ?
This cracker barrel was, ok, our service was wonderful. Jan our server was well mannered, friendly, and prompt. However no cornbread and she found a few butters otherwise were also out until their truck... Food was made well and very quick delivery to table... Almost 5
On this particular visit, the food and service was great (left a 25% tip). The register checkout process on the other hand was not smooth by a long shot. They had trouble splitting the ticket with one person paying with a credit card and one person paying cash. I believe it to be a tech issue rather a personnel issue. My advice is to enjoy the food and service and figure out the simplest way to pay prior to paying your bill.
I had a to go order. I waited 25 minutes but ordered it there so that's not bad. The food was great and generous portions. Minus a star for forgetting the silverware pack. IE no fork knife napkin or Salt and pepper. I'm sure this was an oversight. Since I was at a hotel I was able get what I needed.
Great place for a lunch time meeting. Service is fast. Food always meets expectations. Servers are friendly and observant even during rush times. New menu items are always worth a try.
