Overall the only positive thing is the area it's in. I love that it's in the heart of the East side near East chase, etc. The area has went down and they're steadily letting just anyone in now which is not always good. All money isn't good money. When Foshee managed the property they valued the property and the residents...as of now, it's NOTHING like that.
We moved here from out of state and the move was a little rushed as we had a short window to make the move due to my husband's job. This was the place we chose and sadly we regret the decision. The walls are thin, we hear our neighbors behind and below us flushing toilets, doing laundry, and taking showers. The fixtures and appliances are old from the 1990s and need serious updating. The garbage disposal sounds like a chainsaw, when we called maintenance to look at it they said "that's how it's supposed to sound". The appliances are old, they are not the ones that they show you in the model apartment, the sliding doors on the closets have never worked and when talking to neighbors about telling maintenance they said don't bother. The main bathroom toilet gives us issues and shocker maintenance won't come fix the issue. The maintenance guy here is terrible. He's rude and disrespectful with no regard to anything that you say. There are weird sewer smells that will permeate the apartment at any time of day or night to the point that at night we have to sleep with the master bathroom door closed. Most recently we're experiencing issues with rodents, we have requested constantly numerous times for pest control only to be told they only come out at the end of the month so we will have to wait until then. This is completely unacceptable. What they're pretty much telling us is that we have to live with an increasing infestation until the end of the month when pest control comes. We've never had an issue with rodents before and we've lived here almost a year without any problems in regard to pests, we don't have visitors as we don't know anyone. Recently there's been a series of break ins in the complex on top of dealing with loud music at night, unruly kids that you hear gathering at all times of night cursing and yelling. Needless to say we will not be renewing our lease here and neither will two of our neighbors that we've spoken to due to the same problems as well. I would give this place zero stars if I could.
My family and I stayed there for years and the only reason why we finally decided to move was because of the type of neighbors that were moving in. The kids were absolutely awful, cursing, out all times of night, vandalizing property, etc. They stay breaking the fences, the car port equipment, and the workout equipment. We could ONLY use the workout area when the office was open because the kids used to be in there all the time and destroy the property.
Other neighbors would walk their dogs in front of your property leaving dog feces everywhere instead of in the designated dog area. That was mentioned but nothing came of it. Neighbors were loud, constantly playing music day and night. Neighbors were also dreadfully nasty, leaving everything from bags of trash, alcohol bottles, beer cans, food boxes (i.e. chicken, Pizza boxes), drink cans and bottles, etc. all across the property amd parking lot. I myself have picked up trash several times. The inside of the apartments are pretty old including the appliances. The water bills is via another system in which whatever type of apartment your in like a 2 bedroom, they take the average amount of all the 2 bedrooms in you building and charge everyone the same amount regardless of what you owe.
