The staff is very friendly and helpful, but in the two times that I've visited they didn't have the parts I needed.
I've used them for years; they have specific or older parts you don't find at the big box home improvement places, or the part you need when the "fits all" repair kit from Walmart still leaks. Don't know what happened with the other reviewers, but service has always been fine to me.
We bought an older home and then happily discovered a bathtub drain that was disconnected, which the 'home inspector' missed. Idiot. The tub drain is an 'older style' where basically it goes straight down instead of making a 90 degree turn. The drain is not a 'specialty' drain more than it was a particular size which I could not find anywhere! After searching all the big box stores, I started looking at smaller suppliers. After the first small store didn't have a drain to fit, the guy told me, 'go to Capitol, they'll have it in stock today." He was correct. In fact, he was the second person to mention Capital. On my lunch break today I stopped by and not only did they have the drain that fit (I brought the female end with me to check) they also had a piece of pipe that fit my overflow drain (the previous home owners simply capped off the over flow). And to make it better, when I walked in, THREE people greeted me; two of them worked together to help. Good luck trying to find any THREE people at ANY of the big box stores that know anything valuable. It's small businesses like this that our community needs to continue to support.
