My husband has used this shop 3 times b/se it is closer to my work. However, each time the flowers came very poorly arranged. The florist does not seem to have any arrangement experience.
Definitely a hidden treasure! Delightful florist shop, all sorts of great gifts, simply gorgeous arrangements! The owner was so much fun to speak with. I stopped in while visiting another shop in the Mulberry District - a charming collection of interesting shops.
I got my 3rd bouquet today. The flowers were light pink tulips. The long flat leaves were broken and most of them were torn or split in the middle. the white -and-green foliage branch was stuck on one side of the bouquet. The tulip stubs were all various length, so you could see the ugly stubs in the clear vase with some fallen dried leaves floating at the bottom.
They made a beautiful arrangement for my wife and they delivered! Simple and professional process for buying flowers
Regrettably, the flowers delivered were not nearly worth the price.:( I live out of state and I came across this site while searching for flowers to send Mom for Mother's Day. I called Al's Flowers and asked for a special arrangement. Once delivered, my mom sent me a picture of the flowers, I was utterly embarrassed and appalled at the simplicity, effortless and insignificant size of the arrangement of small unattractive roses. I will never order from this flower shop again.
I made my husband to promise me that we will NEVER use Al's Flowers & Gifts shop again!!!
A few months later, my husband decided to give them another chance and ordered a smaller arrangement of 3 roses. What a joke that was. The picture on the internet shows a beautiful vase piece, but what i got was very far from it. The vase came with ... yes 3 roses, in a clear narrow vase with a pink TORN!!! bow around it!! Comon guys, are you kidding me??
Answered phone immediatelly and was very friendly and helpful even 1 min from closing; stayed open late and put together flowers for me! Excellent, friendly staff!
My 1st vase was supposed to have a dozen roses, but came to me with only 11! Half the roses were dark and dried out. The greens and foliage were bunched up on one side.
