Cool outdoor store. Most things are overpriced, but almost everything on clearance, which is always something, is a steal! Sometimes you have to dig through things to find the clearance items. I can usually find a few dog collars or leashes at 90% or so off. Shoes are also a frequent 50% off or better item. Incredible sunglasses collection, but you have to get them unlocked by an employee.
I've lived in the south all my life, I know there are places that look down on people because of their race however this location takes the cake! I come there for shoes, mostly Toms but never again. Stale looks on their faces, watching you where you go. Don't deserve my business or money. Prejudice sales associates hired by a prejudice asst manager hired by a prejudice store manager hired by a prejudice district manager hired by a prejudice owner.
Nice store with a large variety items from many different categories. Only issue is this was my first visit and after looking around for more than a half hour, I left empty handed. I saw many things I liked till I saw the price. Everything was SO OVER PRICED! I won't waste my time coming back.
First let me start by saying I love the clothes in Kinnucans. I am African American and I shop Kinnucans frequently. My shopping experiences fluctuate. I find that a lot of the sales reps are racist. Every time I go in the store I'm either followed or I don't receive any help. Today just sealed the deal. I will never shop at the Montgomery location ever again. My shoe salesman was very nice and helpful. When I got to the register there were 3 cashiers. A lady was standing around and I didn't realize she was in line but when I walked up I stepped back and let her go ahead of me. The young man next to me was finishing up a transaction and when he gave the guy his bag he looked up at me but didn't say anything so I walked up to the counter. The phone began to ring and he didn't say excuse me let me get that, hold on or anything he just grabbed the phone and started laughing with the other associate as if he didn't want to ring me up. I stepped back again. He then proceeded to ring 3 more customers up ahead of me. I stood in line almost 10 min until I gave him my stuff and I asked him what was the problem he saw me standing there and he said "I thought you were gonna get rang up over there". What in the world? He gave me a dry apology after I complained then he ramg up my stuff never asked if I was a KSO member and just told me my total. I had to tell him I wanted my points so look up my member #. This was not only embarrassing but disrespectful. I spend too much money in that store to be treated that way and I will not spend another dime at this location. Prattville employees are always nice, respectful, they remember faces, and don't mind doing their job (ringing up all guests in order). I want to end by saying this has been my experience in the Montgomery location and it's not the first time.
I love their merchandise but it's usually overpriced unless on sale. The store is highly organized and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
