It was my first and last visit to Burlington in Montgomery Al. There was only one cashier and a very long line. I don't blame the cashier, but when there are that many people waiting and no assistance is even offered, we'll, there s a big problem somewhere. I will not be back.
The store has gone to the dogs. It is unorganized and has less than half of what it used to in product. Don't go into the bathroom unless you're fully vaccinated. Two of the three toilets were backed up and the other one was covered in wet piss toilet paper. It smelled worse than a flophouse where hobos shoot up. The only reason it is worth two stars is decent pricing on some of their merchandise.
Years ago when I went to Burlington I remembered them having coats everywhere. Decided the other day to go there in search of a good jacket and I could barely find any! I was going to atleast buy a little water bowl for my dog but when I saw the extremely long slow moving line at check out.. I left with nothing instead.
It's a great place to shop, but really need more friendly cashiers
Shopping was wonderful, however checkout was ridiculous. I waited in line longer than I shopped. Some people put their merchandise down and left the store. It was only two cashiers on the registers and one served 4 customers while the other one handled one. However it was at least 5 people behind the counter. One felt that it was more important to put up merchandise behind the counter than to assist the customers who were waiting to purchase your products. Sad display of customer service. However, the one cashier worked diligently to move the line as quickly as possible with a smile.
