If you are in Maxwell AFB or anywhere in Montgomery please eat there. We had dinner there and then ordered to go again. The staff are really friendly and nice. Please eat there. You will get your money's worth.
Racist older light complexioned Indian man who sports turban, waited on white couple who got in line at check out, after us. When my husband stepped forward the person dismissively waved his hand at my husband then beckoned the white folks, like this is South Africa apartheid or Deep South Jim Crow era. We have dined at this establishment for many years, starting back to their McGhehee Rd days, but NEVER again. Too bad, because the food is delicious, and the service otherwise is great. We would expect much better from fellow post colonialized people of color. Word of advice? Keep that person away from front of the house, and your very multiethnic patrons!
After feasting on great tasting food I inquired about the chef. Mr. Surat Singh is not only the Chef but the owner as well. That means consistency in high quality food. This will be my goto place when seeking great tasting Punjabi or northern Indian food in Montgomery. Exceedingly helpful staff that can help in choosing food that fits your palate.

The food is very authentic, VERY VERY DELICIOUS. ITS A FLAVOR LIKE NO OTHER. THE SEATING AND I SIDE DECOR IS BEAUTIFUL AND CALM INDIAN MUSIC PLAYS IN THE ATMOSPHERE. ITS AN AWESOME PLACE, THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY, VERY POLITE AND ARE WILLING TO HELP YOU MAKE THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOUR LUNCH,
