Great bar with a lot of memorabilia, was quiet when I was there but have heard it is quite the happening place with live bands, lots of different areas to "hangout" in.
What a rip-off. Decorated in an attempt at military aviation and maybe WWII, but still feels cheap. But the drinks aren't! Nothing here cheaper then $5, and that's just domestic beer. No discounts for buying a bucket or groups or military. And for some reason they think they can charge a cover on the weekend.
Hopefully it was just an "off" evening. But seems to have gone down hill quite a bit, bartender wasn't knowledgeable, after telling me he couldn't make what I asked for (due to a supplier issue) he asked what I wanted instead and then interrupted me to loudly speak to his buddy behind me & didn't know what wines they had. 2 of the 3 downstairs restrooms were closed, the only 1 open had no soap. Not like it was empty, the entire container was missing. This was all before 7pm on a Friday, so not like a big rush. I was very disappointed in what used to be my favorite bar in Montgomery.
