I have a unit with Red Dot by default once they acquired my old storage facility Eastdale Self Storage. I must admit I'm truly sad to see the old people leave not just for their friendliness and helpfulness but ever since the acquisition, my price has been steadily going up month after month with no new added benefits or explanation and I can't wait to get my things away from there. I'm honestly only doing this review to hopefully receive a $5 credit towards my bill this month until I leave but my thoughts are true and honest sadly. I hope others may be able to find a better experience than I have based off of this review. Unit #49.
I don't like the idea of having to pay for the storage insurance. To elect out of i would have to drive a 25 mile round trip to show them an actual paper copy of my Home Insurance. Your company should give us the option to email a digital copy of my insurance. I also don't like my middle name being used during your email correspondence! I would prefer to use my first and middle name initials! Please make this option available for me to change myself.
I located this company online. The representative I spoke did not tell me about a move-in special. I found out about the special the first time I visited my unit from a banner hanging at the entrance. When I called the company to inquire about the move-in special they did not want to offer it to me because I did not mention the special when I signed the rental contract. The company did come back later and offer me the special. I am very pleased with the facility. It is very clean and I feel secure while I am there.
Just awful since Red Dot took over. I'll be finding a better facility within the next few months. Avoid if possible.
The people are super nice, helpful, informative, great prices, clean and secure. Highly recommend this business!!!
