I was given a 12:30-4:30pm delivery and installation time for a dishwasher purchased from the Prattville Home Depot. At 2:30pm, I called to check my delivery schedule. The dispatcher said they were behind because they broke down for 1.5 hours and they might not make my delivery/installation window. I called Home Depot, but they couldn't do anything. Home Depot cannot use another delivery/installation company. Also, you would think if your delivery/installation was missed because of their lack of resources (standby crew or standby vehicle), you'd be first the next day, right? Nope. Since I live in Millbrook, they only deliver on certain days, I must now wait another week. I would avoid buying any appliances from Home Depot and especially any being delivered by this company. It's painfully obvious they either don't have enough people to finish assigned jobs so they lie about vehicles breaking down or they need new vehicles. Beware!
No one answers the phone at the Montgomery office. I ordered about a month ago from home Depot and I have yet to get my full appliance order. The first time they tried to deliver they did not give the 30 minutes heads up even though they said they would. They left. I had a contractor working 2 streets over waiting for that phone call and nothing. For the 2nd delivery attempt the stove was damaged so we only accepted the fridge. Now they are saying that they tried to deliver today and that is a complete lie. This company is horrible. I just cancelled the stove. I will order and pickup myself just so I know I won't have to deal with this company. Wish I could give it 0 stars.
Ordered a washer and dryer from Home Depot and Hackbarth was supposed to deliver and install on 9/7/17 between 3:30-7:30p. Took off work to make sure someone was home between that time frame was told we'd receive a :30min call before delivery. 7:30 rolled around still no call we called to see what was going on and was informed that they were running behind because they had 13 stops and were on the 11th at the moment they said they'd still be delivering. About 9pm we received another call saying they would not be able to deliver so we asked if they'd be delivering in the morning and they said we do not know. Called to speak to the manager and find out when we could expect delivery of course they were closed. Called the next morning and they said their truck was broke down that they did not know when they'd be able to deliver. So I finally called Home Depot and informed them to give me my delivery cost back and I'd go pick the washer and dryer up myself luckily I manage a moving company in the area and have access to the proper equipment it takes to transport appliances and took my pick up and got the washer and dryer myself. Might I add that they had a few trucks running as I was picking up my own delivery so I believe that their truck broke down garbage was a lie and I know that they have the means to rent a truck in that situation. I believe it boils down to the fact that they just have a bad business operation going on here. Hopefully Home Depot will be giving their delivery contract to another local company that has a better business operation.
Hackbarth scheduled an appliance delivery between 2-6pm today. Guess what time they showed up? NEVER. They didn't call to say they weren't coming, didn't call to say they were running late. I called them and found out they weren't making my delivery at all today and had not scheduled a redelivery. They don't even deserve one star.
I guess imaginary people work there. Every single time I drop by no one is there during "work hours". At least put something on the ###ing window.
