My 82 year old mother was referred to Dr. Steven Barryman for a knee injury. He was very rude and disrespectful to her , and wouldn't allow her to ask questions, he was in and out less than 10 minutes and made her feel like she was nothing. If surgery is required after her rehab he will surely NOT being the one doing it. Do not subject yourself or loved ones to that kind of treatment!!!!
I had Dr.Barrington after being assigned to him in the emergency room at Jackson Hospital,Montgomery,Al in July 28th 2015.He is the world's worst orthopedic Dr.their is.He even makes his own nurses call him lord barrington.He screwed my right elbow and arm so bad that i cannot and will not ever be able to use my right arm again.He operated on my arm three different times never fixing it properly including giving me staff infection twice during surgery.knowing he had cause the infection himself.Know this;I'M COMING AFTER U,SIGNED L.C
Dr. Barrington was incredibly unhelpful and made it clear he had no intention of helping me solve my knee problems. As I can't take NSAIDs for pain, I asked what options I had as far as pain management, and his response was "I don't do that." I have no idea what that means. I asked about homeopathic treatments and he told me to figure that out on my own. He was rude and frankly acted like my presence was wasting his time. I have to note that I was able to get an appointment with him quickly, and while there the side of the waiting room holding Dr. Davis's patients was packed, while there was no one else on Dr. Barrington's side. In retrospect, that's pretty telling.
We were Tri-care Prime and I had a knee and hip injury. He was very professional and cordial and after describing my injuries I was taken for X-rays and then relayed my options. It was decided physical therapy would be appropriate and so my condition greatly improved after several weeks.
