The office is efficient and Doctor McIntyre is personable and actually listens to your symptoms to get you your best treatment.
As one of the previous reviewers stated I will not even give this place one star but because I cannot post this review without giving a star I am wholeheartedly reluctant. If I could give negative 5 STARS I would. I am not a patient at this doctors office but my wife is. I have been with her to multiple visits and have seen how the staff operates. Long waits, some people on staff are not fully trained, at times depending on who is at the desk they are very rude and unprofessional and it is an all around bad experience. On today my wife went in to the doctor because she has been at home with a case of strep throat. Before she went back to work on Monday she wanted to be seen by a doctor. She went in was seen and was told her prescriptions would be sent in to the pharmacy. We got to the pharmacy...No prescriptions. We immediately called the doctors office back and they literally had her on hold over 30 minutes which lasted after their closing time of 11am on Fridays. This was totally unnecessary, unethical, and unprofessional!!! My wife will be changing doctors!!! I advise you all to not patronize this establishment!!!
Dr. McIntyre is a fantastic doctor. He is very nice and thorough. The office staff is horrific and has very weak communication skills. They are going to be the fall of this practice. I went in for an appointment and I waited for over an hour and after several patients go back, I asked was there a problem. She said "oh we forgot to put you on the actual schedule". I was furious and missed a day of work for nothing. I canceled my future appts and I will not be returning. Two weeks later and I'm still waiting on some test results!
Office staff is horrible! They are very hard to understand, don't return calls, don't submit prescriptions when promised, and lab results not posted to the phone system. Doctor McIntyre will NOT call you back either regardless how much you complain. He tells his new patients how important an honest relationship between patient and physician is and promise the best of care, but it's not true. He only want's your insurance money. It took dozens of phone calls and complaining to get my lab results--it took 62 days to get ALL of my results. He does have a nice facility, but not one picture hung--weird. Read reviews on other websites before making the same costly mistake I did.
I tried making an appointment for a week,the answering Service is NOT reliable at all and they do not return phone calls I like knowing I can get my doctor or a nurse if Im sick,so 5 found another doctor in My town ofPrattville
