The teachers are great for helping you when you need it. I am in the welding program. Couldn't ask for better teachers. How ever the administrative and finical offices are AWFUL. They need to change this. The way they act towards you, makes you think they don't care nor want to help you. I've had better help from students with this than I have from the crack pot office team that have.
When you go to the school to talk to a person about their GED or any other program there's never anyone there at the door to speak to you. You have to just walk and walk until you find somebody that looks like they possibly work there. I hate this place and hope they close it down. It makes no sense to have something that is suppose to be a college ran by a bunch of ignorant idiots.
Go to a four year instead!!!!!! Don't waste your time and money. To much confusion and disappointment when transferring to a 4 year university.
If you need help, office/finacial side questions wise, just go to the students who have been there the longest. You'll get the answers/responses you need and not have to waste your time in the office.
Every single time you attempt to call these people nobody ever answers the line.
I had a wonderful time, actually learning in the classroom. The school has some passionate instructors and decent programs. Now, onto the "BUT": The administration, of this school, is ATROCIOUS. About as backward as Alabama, itself. From registering, to transferring credits, to making payments, to >requesting transcripts
I been going to this community college for about a year. Financial Aid is terrible. So if you plan on going to this school, be aware of financial aid. They need more assistance to help with financial aid. Not 1, Not 2 but 10 of them.
