Excellent hike along the Alabama river. A section of the Cypress Golf Course was closed two years ago due to flooding leaving meadows and rolling vistas.

This place has a nice boat ramp though the pass to Alabama River is shallow. A few years back I would not have recommended Powder Magazine for fear of your car being broken into. Once they tore down the projects, it has gotten better.
Very clean and easy boat ramp with 2 slots. Never busy. Love putting in boat here.
