I came in for lunch by myself. I'm pregnant and wanted a bowl of Brunswick stew and fried green tomatoes. The server was a little slow. She was very pleasant and kind however and juggling a few tables. The fried green tomatoes were delicious as always! I highly recommend them. I ended up getting the Que stew, it's the chopped pork on top of the Brunswick stew. I feel the pork took away from the stew. It left a very off putting taste. I couldn't eat more than a third and didn't take it to go. To drink I had their wonderful homemade lemonade. It's to die for. Next visit I will avoid the que stew but I will be back.
Still a solid choice, but not as good as when I first started going in the '90's. Service is polite and attentive. Sweet tea is a little heavy on the sugar. Chicken needed more time on the grill. Ribs and pulled pork we're above average. Better than Nick n Jim', for 1/3 less.
Great friendly service. Decent BBQ, nothing to write home about. They need to buy brisket. Good mason jar drinks.
I love Country's. The food is great, but the service is even better. I enjoyed my mom's birthday dinner there, too.
The thing that put them over to 5 stars was the chilled beer mug, great work guys.
Best sweet tea. Tucked out of the way, but worth finding a parking spot. Designed well and the bbq was good. Vinegar based slaw, if that's your thing, but the collards were good. I'm going back to try the beef. :-) Also the people working make this a 5 star review rather than 4 star.
