The lock doctor save my day. I need a key made for my grandmother’s car. I got there close to closing and the lock doctor assisted me with no hesitation. I apologize for my tardiness and he said no problem. He immediately started to program the key and made sure I was comfortable while waiting! The best in town and he is the cheapest in Montgomery! Got treated better than you could possibly imagine. I was here on a short trip from Missouri. My key wouldn't turn the ignition on my 2009 Hyundai Sonata. I called the dealership, they said $360 was the best case scenario, could be up to $600+. The ignition cylinder itself was $180. I called the Lock Doctor. He said there was no way around buying the cylinder from Hyundai but he could do everything else for $125. I asked him if I purchased the cylinder could he pick it up at the Hyundai Dealership, because I was from out of town and had no transportation. I knew this request was more than I should ask, but the Lock Doctor said he would because of my situation. He said the job would be done the same day the car was dropped off. To my surprise, I got a call the next day stating the ignition cylinder was fine, it just needed some lubrication because one of the tumblers was sticking. He said my car was ready and I didn't owe him anything. He could have just as easily replaced the cylinder (as I had already authorized) and collected his fee. I wouldn't have known any better. Or he could have made even more, use your imagination. I wish I had a guy in my local area that I could rely on.
