Bought an eclair from the bakery and it was frozen solid and crystallized. When I called to let them know ( in case they had the display case on the freezer setting) the person in the bakery told me that all of their bakery items come frozen and maybe I should let it thaw before eating it. I hadn't thought of that.... Probably because I expected a fresh (as their store name would suggest) eclair with a creamy center. So glad they solved my problem.
Not only does this market have a great selection of fresh items, the employees are exceptional. When I need an out of the norm item for a recipe, they know exactly what I need. They know me by name. They ask about my family. It has the feel of a family owed business. I drive 35 miles round trip to shop. My only complaint is - no retail grocery store should be open on Thanksgiving Day. Close and allow your employees time with their families.
It is always hard to contain myself in TFM. The choices and prices of vino are unbeatable. I've become somewhat a chef with the Big Little Meal Deal whereby I can feed four for $20. The good customer service is consistent.
Eric in the meat market is a big asset to this location. Glad I now have two go to employee's to talk to. (Charles my other favorite) I enjoy dealing with someone who I think is looking out for me in my meat selections.
Fresh produce, organic. Meats have no hormones. All high quality foods. Have meats and seafood, also if you like wine etc..they carry that as well. Carry "green" cleaning supplies as well as great selection of cheeses and meats. Homemade salads and meats. Salad bar, includes olives
