Fantastic place to stay with beautiful campsites! Large spots for big rigs, very spacious. Highly recommend!
Southern senic setting with Spanish Moss on the trees and camp sites backing up to water. My site was level hard surface with water, electric, and sewer hook up.
An average campground in some nice woods. We were walk-ups from out of town during Irma, so I appreciated the hospitality and the well-maintained grounds. We stayed on the tent loop, so we had electricity, water, a nice picnic table, a fire pit, a charcoal grill, and a lantern post, all on a good gravel tent pad. The view from our site (97) was awesome. Sites were fairly close together, but with enough buffer space for some trees. The men's bathroom/shower was apparently horrific (though clean) but I found the women's adequate. All afternoom there was a lot of noise from the speedway down the road, which was a little annoying, but I guess some people probably like that sort of thing. All in all, we had a good time and I was glad to find such a nice place during the evacuation. Minus a star for the horrible men's room.
We love this place! The sites are very large and private, nice and shady, level concrete pads. Beautiful, clean park! The hosts are incredible, very friendly and willing to help with anything at all. There is also a race track across from the park, but on Catoma Loop we never heard it all. There is a bit of a drop off to the water, but that doesn't bother us. Sites 25 - 28 are great, best views. It's just a few miles to Montgomery, where there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. There is a Dollar General just a couple of miles from the park. This is definitely 1 of our favorites just to get away and relax.
